Ace Austin is ready for WWE NXT.
In recent weeks, WWE NXT’s Cora Jade, Wes Lee, Nathan Frazer, and Axiom have appeared in TNA Wrestling as a part of the brands’ ongoing partnership. Meanwhile, TNA’s Moose, The Hardy Boyz, and Masha Slamovich have reciprocated the action in NXT. During a recent interview with WhatCulture Wrestling, former TNA Tag Team Champion Ace Austin addressed the possibility of him following suit, especially given his history with Lee.
“I would say it’s more than a chance [of appearing in NXT]. I would say it’s inevitable, actually, is what I would say,” Austin said. “If you want the best from TNA, then you can’t look any further than me. But it’s also important not to bring your best guns out first. The time’s gonna to come.
“Especially with Wes Lee jumping over to us and starting trouble with me, that’s just not a really good idea on his part because I don’t think he wants me to come over there and embarrass him. That wouldn’t be good for him and his brand. I think that this whole partnership thing has been so exciting and so beautiful. 2025 is a really exciting year. Like I said, when TNA is ready to put their best foot forward, I’m the pillar. I’m the pole. I’m ready to do it.”
As Austin alluded to, he and former NXT North American Champion Wes Lee have crossed paths several times on TNA programming recently, including a singles match against one another. Later, Lee cost Austin his match against Frankie Kazarian on the February 27 episode TNA iMPACT.
