A recently released WWE star was reportedly backstage at AEW Revolution.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports Elektra Lopez was among the group of noteworthy names that was backstage at AEW Revolution on March 9th. No further details were provided in the report, and Lopez was likely just visiting.
Elektra Lopez’s WWE Run
Lopez, or Karissa Rivera, had a run in Ring of Honor in 2019. She made some appearances for WWE in squash matches from 2018-2019. She then signed with WWE in February 2021 and joined NXT. Lopez went on to join Legado Del Fantasma, which included Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde. The group was prominently featured on NXT until they moved to the main roster in October 2022. However, Zelina Vega replaced Lopez when they were called up to SmackDown.
Elektra Lopez later returned to the group when Escobar split away from Vega and aligned with Berto and Angel instead. She regained her spot as the group’s manager in late 2023 and remained with them until she was released in February 2025.
