“Big Boom” AJ is ready to bring the boom at AEW Revolution.
AJ was already a buzzworthy name before he joined AEW, due to his popularity as one of The Costco Guys. After he appeared at AEW All Out, he agreed to have a match in AEW. AJ wound up facing QT Marshall at AEW Full Gear. A broken foot sidelined AJ for the next few months, though he continued to make a few appearances. He will return to the AEW ring at AEW Full Gear, where he, Orange Cassidy, and Mark Briscoe will face Johnny TV and MxM Collection.
In an interview with Justin Barrasso for Undisputed, Big Boom AJ discussed his run in AEW so far.
“Pro wrestling has been a love of mine since I was very young,” AJ said. “Ever since AEW called, it’s been a crazy ride getting back in the ring. I get to do it with Big Justice–that’s my guy. He has the itch for pro wrestling now. That’s the best part of all this.
“And look who we’re teaming with–Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe. Between Orange, Mark, myself, and Big Justice, it works together so well. We bring something for everyone.”
Big Boom AJ Teases The Rizzler Will Appear
AJ also looked ahead to AEW Revolution and said he would be bringing the boom. He then teased that The Rizzler might appear as well.
“When I come down the ramp and I bring the boom at the Crypto.com Arena, the boom will come right back–and I’ll be taking it into the ring,” AJ said. “That means I would not want to be MxM or Johnny TV.
“Orange Cassidy is coming, Mark Briscoe is coming. I’m coming. Big Justice is coming. Hey, we might even see The Rizzler–and we’re bringing the boom.”
