Is AEW planning for another new pay-per-view or special event in 2025?
On March 7, All Elite Wrestling filed a new trademark with the USPTO for the term “AEW Spring Breakthru.”
The description of the trademark is as follows:
Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling.
AEW hosted nine pay-per-view events in 2024. While it’s conceivable they could add a tenth in 2025, it’s more likely a name for a future special episode of Dynamite. This wouldn’t be the first time AEW has utilized a season for their weekly programming as Winter Is Coming has been a staple of the company’s December calendar for several years.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more news on this new AEW trademark as it becomes available.
