Liv Morgan sent a message to Jade Cargill after Naomi revealed that she was the one who attacked Jade Cargill on WWE SmackDown.
Since Cargill was attacked backstage in November, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were often accused of being Cargill’s attackers. However, when Cargill returned at WWE Elimination Chamber, she attacked Naomi, seemingly identifying her as her attacker. On the March 7th episode of WWE SmackDown, Naomi revealed that she was the one who attacked Cargill.
Liv Morgan then took to Twitter and shared her thoughts on the situation. She first said that Belair owed her an apology, even if she didn’t get it right away. Morgan then noted that Naomi lied and framed her. She went on to note that she “always wondered wtf Jade was even doing to get pushed like that.”
The timing of Liv Morgan’s comment about Jade Cargill sparked some buzz. In addition to Naomi’s confession on SmackDown, a combination of controversial reports about Cargill dropped hours earlier in the day on Friday.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that there was a backstage confrontation between Cargill and Shayna Baszler backstage before her absence, and Cargill had rubbed people the wrong way. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select then reported that Cargill had heat in the locker room, both for the incident with Baszler and her video about being surrounded by wolves. Cargill’s absence was also cited as an issue, as some sources doubted the validity of her injury.
