John Cena seemingly responds to the buzz about “Stone Cold” Steve Austin potentially appearing at WWE WrestleMania 41
Cena turned heel and aligned with The Rock at WWE Elimination Chamber, as he attacked Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Given The Rock’s classic rivalry with Austin, some fans have buzzed about the possibility of “Stone Cold” appearing at WrestleMania 41.
In a post on Instagram, John Cena shared a picture that seemingly has a box edited onto Steve Austin’s body. The message “Stone Cold Soul” is written on the picture as well.
Steve Austin did not appear at WWE WrestleMania 40, so many fans are hoping to see “The Texas Rattlesnake” make an appearance this year.
Steve Austin Hasn’t Been Contacted For WrestleMania
For now, these fans might have to pump the brakes. In a recent interview with The Schmo , “Stone Cold” Steve Austin commented on John Cena’s heel turn. He was also asked about WWE WrestleMania 41, and he said that no one has contacted him about it yet.
“Hey, I haven’t been in contact with anybody, so I guess anything could happen. But I’m here to run the Mint 400 and that’s what my sights are set on. I’m not looking to Mania,” Austin said. “I’m looking to the Mint 400. I got a brand new left knee, trying here to – this is my first race back. So I’m gonna go out there and kick ass and see if I can do as well as I can.”
Austin also discussed his relationship with CM Punk. Check out his comments here.
