MVP: A Huge Thank You To Tony Khan For Giving Us The Opportunity To Finish Our Story

MVP is thankful that Tony Khan wanted to bring The Hurt Syndicate to AEW.

All Elite Wrestling‘s MVP recently spoke with Denise Salcedo. During the interview, Porter expressed gratitude to Tony Khan for bringing in The Hurt Syndicate and allowing them to finish their story on their terms.

“I really want to say, in all seriousness, a huge thank you to Tony Khan for giving us the opportunity to finish our story,” MVP said. “Because everyone knows our story was ended abruptly with no explanation, no rhyme or reason. So now we’re getting a chance to end our careers on our terms, in a place where we’re valued.

“Where we’re bringing value, and where we’re getting to work and help younger talent on our way out the door. That feels so good. Tony was cool enough to say, no, I see the value in those guys. And he is going to let us tell our story and end it the way we want to. And that’s a huge gift. So we’re very grateful for that.”

When asked who The Hurt Syndicate are looking forward to working with, MVP said there are a lot of guys they want to work with and it’s as easy as telling Tony Khan that they want to do it.

“With all the pool of talent that’s over there, there are a lot of guys that we’re looking forward to working with. And the beautiful thing is, with Tony Khan, it’s not a matter of saying, I hope Tony Khan does this. You say, ‘Hey Tony, we want to work with these guys.’ And Tony will go, ‘That’s a great match. Let’s do it.'”
