Lex Luger will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2025.
WWE shared the news in a YouTube video in which Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes surprised Luger with the news.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H then commented on the news.
Lex Luger debuted in 1985 and went on to have a prominent run in Jim Crockett Promotions/WCW. He then signed with WWE in 1993 and had a run as “The Narcissist” before he became “The All-American”. Luger returned to WCW in 1995 and stayed with the promotion until WWE bought the company.
Luger was the co-winner of the 1994 Royal Rumble. He is a two-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and a five-time WCW United States Champion. He also won the WCW Tag Team Championship three times, among other accolades.
Michelle McCool and Triple H are also set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
