John Cena is set to appear at multiple WWE SmackDown tapings later in 2025.
WWE’s official website is advertising Cena for the May 30th episode, which will be held at Thompson–Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee. Cena is also advertised for the June 13th episode at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. Additionally, he is set to appear at the June 20th episode at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
John Cena began his farewell tour at the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere. He competed in the Men’s Royal Rumble, in which he was eliminated by Jey Uso. Cena then declared for the Men’s Elimination Chamber. He went on to win the Men’s Elimination Chamber to earn a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE WrestleMania 41. After the match, he attacked reigning champion Cody Rhodes and aligned with The Rock.
The Rock said that Cena got on a flight after WWE Elimination Chamber due to his filming obligations. It is not currently known when he will return to WWE programming.
