Trick Williams will compete in an NXT Underground match on the March 18th episode of WWE NXT.
Former NXT Champion Trick Williams has been determined to get revenge since Eddy Thorpe beat him in a Strap Match at WWE NXT Vengeance Day. Williams has been displaying more aggression recently, and it was on display when he scored a win via stoppage against Kale Dixon on the March 4th episode of WWE NXT.
After the match, he calked Thorpe and made it clear that he wanted a rematch. Thorpe answered by saying they should see who the better man was once and for all. He challenged Williams to an NXT Underground match on the March 18th episode of WWE NXT, and Williams accepted.
Thorpe is undefeated in NXT Underground matches. He beat Damon Kemp in July 2023 and defeated Dijak in December 2023.
