Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes may have gotten banged up at WWE Elimination Chamber.
Rhodes didn’t wrestle at the show, but he was involved in the show-closing segment. He came out after John Cena won the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. Rhodes then refused The Rock’s offer, and Cena turned heel on him. Cena attacked Rhodes, and during the beatdown, Scott slapped Rhodes.
On Wrestling Observer Radio following the March 3rd episode of WWE RAW, Dave Meltzer stated that he heard that Cody Rhodes suffered a busted eardrum and a black eye during the attack Bryan Alvarez responded by speculating that Scott caused the injury when he slapped Rhodes, as he hit his ear.
