Will John Cena Be on WWE Raw Tonight After His Heel Turn?

John Cena‘s shocking heel turn during WWE’s Elimination Chamber event has turned the wrestling world on its head. Cena has sided with The Rock against Cody Rhodes, setting up a storyline for the WrestleMania 41 main event that few could see coming. As many impatiently await details from Cena regarding the turn, fans hope he’ll make an appearance on WWE Raw tonight (March 3). Here’s all the details regarding his status ahead of the event.

Why John Cena likely won’t be on WWE Raw tonight

After the Elimination Chamber event, The Rock noted in a press conference that Cena was “flying out to Africa right now.” Cena is expected to continue filming for an upcoming movie, meaning that he likely won’t appear at WWE Raw tonight.

This makes sense, as Cody Rhodes is also not expected to appear on Raw. The WWE Champion is next scheduled to appear on WWE programming on March 7, when SmackDown will make its way to Philadelphia. This gives fans some time to stew on the events of the Elimination Chamber, before Cody addresses the incident on Friday.

Cena isn’t scheduled for the next two weeks of Raw, but he has 30 dates through 2025 as part of his “farewell tour.” He’s scheduled for the March 17, 24, and 31 episodes of Raw, meaning that he isn’t expected to appear on WWE TV for another two weeks.

Cena is expected to show up to WWE events much more frequently in the build-up to WrestleMania 41. With the event just under two months away, fans will want to find out more about his partnership with The Rock heading into ‘Mania, and how this will factor into the show’s main event.
