These two trying to murder each other should happen on every PLE. When was the last time we saw a match with this level of animosity? Punk and McInrye? This writer doesn’t even like hardcore matches (I’m old; what do you want from me?), but the barbarity here made perfect sense and was, ahem, extremely fun to watch. Orton’s return was great, and teasing the Punt was a nice touch. We will probably see Owens get his head kicked off at WrestleMania.

Match of the night. So many issues came to a head in this match, and so many new issues have been cemented. Cena winning this match was the way to go. The finish here was masterful, and it gives Punk a reason to switch his focus back to Rollins. Punk will get his Mania main event outside of a world title match, most likely in a triple threat with Rollins and Roman Reigns. McIntyre is going to have a kitten complaining about Priest pinning him, and hopefully, Logan Paul ends up in the Andre battle royal or something, and we don’t have to worry about him being in the way at Mania.
