Roman Reigns says there is no “Big Dog”.
In a new video for IGN, Roman Reigns reacted to several popular memes about him. One meme stated, “If you don’t love me at my Big Dog, then you don’t deserve me at my Tribal Chief.”
“There is no Big Dog. He’s dead now,” he said. “I don’t even see the other guy. Doesn’t even exist, didn’t happen.”
The meme was referring to Reigns’ transformation from his “Big Dog” persona into the “Tribal Chief” that fans know today. During his run as the “Tribal Chief”, Reigns had a remarkable reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. He has been absent from WWE programming in recent weeks, but he has been announced for two episodes of WWE SmackDown in March.
Roman Reigns On His Mindset
Speaking on the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast with O’Shea Jackson Jr & TJ Jefferson, Reigns was asked to comment on what kept him motivated at this stage, given his success. He stated that he always wanted more.
“I’m a sick man,” he said. “I got that thing, that drive. I want more, always want more. Goal posts go back. We’re in the end zone. Move them back again. We got pretty high. There’s another level. So I’m always trying to get better. I just believe this is what I’m supposed to do.
“The Wiseman picks me up in the morning. ‘How you doing?’ I woke up. Everybody else is fucked because I woke up. That’s how I look at it. You all had a chance until I woke up, and today’s mine. That’s just what it is.”
