Leyla Hirsch might not be Elite much longer.
Hirsch has been part of the AEW/ROH roster since October 2020, signing her first contract in March 2021. Now, PWInsider.com is reporting that Hirsch’s current deal will expire on Friday, February 28. In addition, she is not expected to re-sign and will be a free agent.
Hirsch missed a considerable amount of time starting in 2022 due to an ACL injury. She returned to action in July 2023, mostly appearing on the Ring Of Honor brand. Hirsch has not wrestled for either brand since competing against Women’s TV Champion Red Velvet at Final Battle 2024. This was also Hirsch’s final match (to date) for any promotion.
