Christopher Daniels Was Caught Blading On Camera On AEW Dynamite

Christopher Daniels was spotted blading on AEW Dynamite, with the botch spotted by cameras on last night’s episode.

The Fallen Angel has played a key part in the MJF versus Adam Page storyline so far. Hangman caused Christopher Daniels’ retirement due to injury a few weeks back, which has formed the basis of MJF’s verbal attacks on the former AEW Champion.

However, last night also involved physical attacks. MJF came out to speak to Adam Page, wiping blood from his hands as he spoke to him on the stage. As MJF left, he mentioned about Hangman’s friends, revealing he had attacked Christopher Daniels backstage.

Hangman ran backstage to find a bloodied and beaten Christopher Daniels lying on the floor. Medics soon tended to the AEW star but the camera focused on him just a few seconds too soon.

That is because the clip began with Christopher Daniels using a blade to cut himself to make his forehead bleed. This is called “blading” and is the way most wrestlers bleed in wrestling. However, it is not meant to be seen by the fans. Showing this on screen was a big botch by the AEW production team.

Luckily, this mistake didn’t take too much away from the moment. Adam Page helped medics get to Christopher Daniels and the fans still enjoyed the segment.

The mistake was spotted on Twitter, with the clip being posted to show the botch from AEW Dynamite.

MJF is set to face Adam Page at AEW Revolution on March 8th.
