Trish Stratus has confirmed that she’ll be on the final episode of WWE SmackDown ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber.
Stratus returned to WWE at WWE Royal Rumble, where she competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble. She then appeared on the February 14th episode of WWE SmackDown. There, she made the save when Candice LeRae attacked WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton during her match against Nia Jax. Stratus appeared again the following week, but Jax overpowered her and hit her with the Annihilator.
In a tweet, Trish Stratus confirmed that she would be at Friday’s WWE SmackDown taping in Toronto.
Stratus and Stratton are set to face Jax and LeRae at WWE Elimination Chamber.
Trish Stratus On Nia Jax
Stratus expressed her interest in working with Jax months ago, as she spoke highly of the former champion during an interview with Scott Fishman of TV Insider.
“Nia Jax, I’m so happy she came back,” Trish Stratus said. “She has a great presence. She has been owning it. I really enjoy watching her. I have this weird thing where I don’t think I could fully retire until I’m rag-dolled by her. Is that weird? Imagine that? Then I can retire [laughs].”
