Bianca Belair reflects on her latest tag title reign.
Belair held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship for nearly six months with two different partners, Jade Cargill and Naomi. Of course, that changed on this week’s episode of WWE Raw as Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez dethroned Belair and Naomi. Still, Belair remains proud of her respective tag title reign, which marked her second overall.
“Having these titles and holding this responsibility meant so much,” Belair wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “I tried to give this division everything I had and more, and I hope I did right by you. Our tag team division is …and I love that yall see that! even Liv & Raquel [eye roll emoji]. I can end this reign saying I am so proud! WE did That! It’s bittersweet. But like someone said, ‘Don’t cry because it’s over… smile because it happened’ …Sis is Tired from putting that werk in but It’s Mania season and it’s only the beginning for us… this ain’t OVA! Now on to #EliminationChamber with my sis [Naomi].”
Belair and Cargill regained the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at WWE Bash in Berlin. From there, Belair and Cargill enjoyed successful title defenses over IYO SKY and Kairi Sane as well as Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend. In November, a mystery assailant attacked Cargill, rendering her unable to defend the titles anymore. The following month, Naomi stepped in as her replacement. In doing so, helped Belair retain the titles against Jackson and Legend again as well as Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.
Despite losing their tag titles, Belair and Naomi both now look forward to WWE Elimination Chamber, where they and four other women will vie for a shot at WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 41.
