The Hardys React To Coming ‘Home’ To WWE, Fire A Warning To Fraxiom

The Hardys were ecstatic to be back in WWE, wrestling their first match together in a WWE ring in several years.

The duo last teamed together in WWE back in 2019. In the years following they both left the company, teaming in AEW and TNA with a second lease on life.

During this time, they have won the TNA Tag Team titles. The Hardys are set to defend those titles against Fraxiom at TNA Roadblock following their victory in their WWE return against the No Quarter Catch Crew.

Following their win on NXT, The Hardys spoke on an NXT exclusive about their return to the WWE. They talked about how incredible it was and how the WWE will always be their home.

“It feels incredible, it’s extremely flattering,” Matt Hardy said. “I mean, we returned home—we’re back at our birthplace. WWE will always be our home, it will always be our birthplace. Without WWE, we wouldn’t be who we are, and we are blessed to have had this 33-year-long career.”

“Coming back to NXT, making our debut, wrestling on live television—it was an absolute honor and an absolute blast. Thank you for having us.”

Jeff Hardy then added, “Amen. Yeah, this is very surreal. It’s good to be back—it’s where it all began. Maybe it’ll all end here, but for right now, we’re Total Nonstop Action, baby! Mixing it up with NXT and WWE? It don’t get much better.”

The Hardys Are Not Afraid Of Fraxiom

Continuing the interview, the Hardys began discussing Fraxiom and their upcoming title defense.

“I mean, I got to tell you, these guys are great. I’m gonna give them their due—they are great. They’ve been on our radar for a while now,” Matt Hardy said. “We do all that we can to keep our fingers on the pulse of pro wrestling, and we want to have that title of being the greatest tag team of all time—that is important to us.”

“We want to cement our legacy as one of the best ever, but I’m telling you, Fraxiom is in the conversation. And I know we’re in for a hell of a fight when we get to New York City,” Matt continued. “But we are the most finest champions you are ever going to see because we are all about hope and faith. And fear is only a four-letter word to the Hardys—we are not afraid.”

Jeff Hardy then added, “Yeah, Fraxiom, prepare to be amazed, man. When you get out there with us, the energy shifts—and they’re gonna experience that.”
