Two of WWE NXT‘s top stars are set to clash in a buzzworthy Champion vs. Champion match.
On the February 25th episode of WWE NXT, Stephanie Vaquer successfully defended the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Karmen Petrovic. After the bell, NXT Women’s Champion Giulia confronted her. She noted that Vaquer had said she was the best champion, but she was not. Giulia said that she was the best champion, and Giulia told her they should find out who the best woman was. Vaquer then challenged her to a Title vs. Title match.
Giulia and Vaquer both raised their titles, seemingly confirming the match.
Later in the show, Ava announced that Giulia would face Vaquer at NXT Roadblock, and both titles would be on the line.
Giulia and Vaquer have quickly risen to the top of NXT’s women’s division. Giulia won the NXT Women’s Championship by defeating Roxanne Perez at NXT New Year’s Evil. Vaquer followed her by winning the NXT Women’s North American Championship at WWE NXT Vengeance Day.
