The New Day attacked Rey Mysterio on the February 10th episode of WWE RAW, and WWE has provided an update on his status.
Mysterio faced Logan Paul in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match on the February 10th episode of WWE RAW. Paul scored the win, and the New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) viciously attacked Mysterio after the match. The WWE Hall of Famer has been absent ever since.
The New Day faced Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro of the LWO on the February 24th episode of WWE RAW. Before the match, the broadcast team announced that Rey Mysterio would be out of action indefinitely following the New Day’s attack. Woods and Kingston went on to score the win. They attacked Cruz and Joaquin after the match, and they also laid out Dragon Lee when he tried to make the save.
