A new member of the billionaire club has been crowned. Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index reports that Ari Emanuel, the CEO of TKO Group Holdings, has reached the mark.
The latest update to Bloomberg’s Index notes that a large part of Emanuel’s rise to being a billionaire is due to his role as the CEO of Endeavor. The company saw a major rise in share price over the past year. This growth comes with Endeavor’s majority stake ownership in TKO Group Holdings Inc. TKO is the primary shareholder in the combined company with WWE and UFC.
TKO’s value alone has doubled in the past year, according to The Hollywood Reporter, thanks in part to moves like WWE’s massive $5 billion streaming rights deal with Netflix, and UFC’s continued success. It is valued at over $27 billion now.
