Nia Jax loved being able to have a long-term storyline alongside Tiffany Stratton.
Last year, Tiffany Stratton formed an alliance with then-Queen of the Ring Nia Jax. She helped her beat Bayley at Summerslam 2024 to win the WWE Women’s Championship while also picking up the Money in the Bank briefcase for herself.
This caused tension between the pair. It inevitably ended when Tiffany Stratton cashed in on Nia Jax to become champion after months and months of teasing. This was a huge moment for both women and something she was very proud of.
Nia Jax spoke with Scott Fishman for TVInsider about her long-running storyline with Tiffany Stratton. The former women’s champion revealed that she loved being able to have a long-running storyline for fans to sink their teeth into.
She added that she wants to get her title back from the WWE Women’s Champion. However, in the meantime, Jax is happy to have been able to carry a storyline for almost a year.
“I love that. With our fanbase, they love the action and love watching a wrestling match, but they love sinking their teeth into a really good story,” she said.
“So, I’m honored that me and Tiffy have been able to portray a really good story the fans have loved. Obviously, she betrayed me, and I still have to get my lick back. I still have to get my title back, but I’m glad we were able to carry a story out beyond just a couple of weeks. It has been almost a whole year with what we were doing. I think that is what fans relate to,” added Jax.
