“I have been blessed for my whole career with unlimited support from all over the world,” Bailey wrote. “I can’t thank you all enough. My biggest accomplishment in life has been making every year my biggest year yet, and I am extremely excited to keep that going in AEW.”

Details On Mike Bailey Signing With AEW

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported that Bailey’s deal with TNA ran through the end of 2024. Per Sapp, Bailey worked with an agent, who claimed that there was interest from both WWE and AEW. Sapp wrote that Bailey was unable to work elsewhere until January 1st, and the multi-year deal was official in January.

Sapp also cited sources who noted that the delay in Bailey’s debut was related to visa-related issues, which are said to be in the approval process.
