Nixon Newell, formerly known as Tegan Nox, briefly commented on her WWE run following her release from the company.
WWE released Newell on November 1. She is now a free agent, and she has been announced for an ATTACK! Pro Wrestling show.
During a virtual signing with Highspots’ Sign-it-Live, Nixon Newell noted that the Tegan Nox character was “so far removed” from who she is.
“I’m very emo, pop-punk. This is me,” she said. “Tegan Nox was so far removed from me that I was trying to get this through but I just wasn’t allowed. They preferred me to be the girl next door, instead of tattooed up punk kid.” (H/t POST Wrestling)
