AEW Collision Results

This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off with Timeless Toni Storm being attacked backstage by Mariah May. May drags Storm out onto the stage and headbutts her before hitting her with a Storm Zero on the rampway. May demands Storm’s spotlight.

Mariah May says Storm never knew how to write an ending, so she’ll have to write one for her in her blood. May says this is their moment and they will have a Hollywood ending at Revolution.

Kazuchika Okada is backstage. Okada says he put the dog down at Grand Slam and if anyone else wants to step up to him he’ll do the same to them too.

Hologram vs. The Beast Mortos

  • The finish of the match saw Hologram hit The Beast Mortos with a rolling sunset flip bomb to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Hologram

After the match, Mortos attacks Hologram and tries to rip his mask off but Komander hits the ring and makes the save.

Grade: A-

What a fun match to kick off Collision tonight. I don’t think Hologram and Mortos are capable of having a bad match with one another. It’s really nice to have Hologram back in the fold with AEW. He’s a special talent.

Speedball Mike Bailey is coming to AEW

A vignette plays for the newest AEW signee Speedball Mike Bailey. He’s coming soon!

Harley Cameron has an interview with Lexy Nair in the ring. Cameron says Grand Slam was only the beginning and she will not stop. Cameron says she will not stop until every single person knows what it feels like to feel the wrath.

Gabe Kidd vs. The Butcher

  • The finish of the match saw Gabe Kidd hit The Butcher with a piledriver to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Gabe Kidd

Grade: B

It’s clear New Japan isn’t the only company that sees something in Gabe Kidd. AEW gave Kidd a nice spotlight tonight and I can’t help but feel it’s only a matter of time until he’s a member of this roster in the future.

Kyle Fletcher is in a bad mood

Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher are backstage with Lexy Nair. Fletcher is upset about what happened at Grand Slam. Nair brings up the fact that Will Ospreay challenged him to a steel cage match at Revolution. Callis says it’s not in Ospreay’s best interest to step into a steel cage with Fletcher. Kyle says all Ospreay has done is take from him but that ends at Revolution, he accepts Ospreay’s challenge for the pay-per-view.

Julia Hart vs. Queen Aminata

  • The finish of the match saw Julia Hart locked Queen Aminata in an Octopus hold to win the match via submission.

Winner: Julia Hart

Grade: B+

Good match. Hart looked to have taken quite the beating in that match as her face was visibly marked up after it. Clearly, this was a stiff bout between these two competitors.

The Murder Machines (Lance Archer and Brian Cage) vs. Two local talents

  • Complete squash from start to finish. Lance Archer scores the pinfall victory for his team.

Winners: The Murder Machines

After the match, The Murder Machines call out The Hurt Syndicate. The trio come out on the stage. MVP says he doesn’t see any championship gold on their waist so who the hell do they think they are calling out The Hurt Syndicate? MVP makes fun of Archer for continuing to beat up locals and says they should take them more seriously. Porter says next week if they beat a real tag team perhaps they can talk business.

Grade: N/A

I rarely grade squash matches, but that one was very entertaining.

A vignette airs for Lio Rush and Action Andretti.

AEW World Trios Championship: The Death Riders (c) vs. Daniel Garcia, Daddy Magic, and Cool Hand Ang

  • The finish saw PAC lock the Brutalizer on Cool Hand Ang to score the submission victory for his team.

Winners: And still AEW World Trios Champions, the Death Riders

After the match, PAC refuses to release the hold which brings out The Undisputed Kingdom to make the save. Castagnoli and Yuta bail into the crowd and join up with Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir. This brings out Adam Copeland with two steel chairs and he takes out PAC with a conchairto twice. Moxley is shown in the crowd looking distraught.

Grade: B+

It was a good trios match, but the outcome was never in doubt. If you weren’t gonna let the Undisputed Kingdom beat these guys, you surely weren’t gonna let this trio do it. And with Cope taking out all of the Death Riders before Revolution that means they won’t be at the pay-per-view to potentially lose their titles, which is a shame.

The Vendetta are not fans of Harley Cameron

The Vendetta are backstage with Lexy Nair. Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie run down Harley Cameron. They tease they have business to take care of. It appears they are continuing teases of adding a third member to this faction.

Max Caster’s open challenge is answered by Brody King.

Max Caster vs. Brody King

  • The finish of the match saw Brody King hit Max Caster with a Cannonball to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Brody King

Grade: A+

I will never not give a Max Caster squash an A+. They can keep doing these matches every week and I’ll enjoy them every single time. Bring it on!

What’s next for The Outrunners on AEW Collision?

The Outrunners are backstage with Lexy Nair thinking about what’s next for them. The Hurt Syndicate walks by and The Outrunners volunteer to face The Murder Machines next week. MVP agrees and tells them if they win they get a title shot.

Ring of Honor World Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Bandido

  • The finish of the match saw Chris Jericho reverse Bandido’s 21Plex with a rollup to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: And still Ring of Honor World Champion, Chris Jericho

Grade: B+

Chris Jericho celebrates on the stage as AEW Collision goes off the air.

AEW Collision Review:

I really enjoyed Collision tonight overall. There were a couple of low points but overall tonight’s show was very strong. Collision continues its strong run of shows in 2025.

Grade: B+
