Meiko Satomura fulfills her promise to return to TJPW before retirement as she competes against Yuki Arai at Grand Princess 2025.
Following Satomura’s win at All Rise ’24 back in October last year, she promised the TJPW roster and fans that she would return to the promotion for another match. Her promise is in light of her retirement this coming April.
As TJPW now heads into its first major show of 2025, they announced that Satomura will wrestle at Grand Princess this March 16. She faces Yuki Arai, a former yet longest-reigning International Princess Champion who held the belt for 366 days. She is also a member of the SKE48 J-Pop girl group. However, Yuki will be leaving come the end of March. This is to focus on her pro wrestling endeavors.
TJPW Grand Princess will be exclusively streamed live on Wrestle Universe.
Meiko Satomura officially hangs up her wrestling boots on April 29, 2025, at her home promotion of Sendai Girls. As of the time of writing, her final opponent is yet to be revealed.
