Nia Jax wants to get her title back, but she’s also interested in reuniting with Shayna Baszler.
Jax lost the WWE Women’s Championship to Tiffany Stratton in January. She competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble, and she is set to face Stratton and Trish Stratus in a tag team match at WWE Elimination Chamber.
Speaking with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Nia Jax was asked to comment on her goals moving forward.
“I definitely want to try to get my title back against Tiffy,” Jax said. “I would also love to go back in the tag division and get those tag titles back. I think Shayna Baszler and I had a great run during the COVID-era. I don’t think the fans got to really enjoy it. Possibly teaming up with Shayna Baszler again would be fun. I know she is in another faction right now, but I wouldn’t mind stealing her for my own personal reasons.”
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler previously won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship twice together.
Nia Jax On Potential Female Bloodline
Jax previously teased that she, Naomi, and Tamina could form a female Bloodline. She commented on the possibility while speaking with Joey Karni of The Angle Podcast.
“Well, I think that the boys are doing a great job,” Nia Jax said. “And I appreciate that the fans want to include us. Because it is the biggest story in WWE, and actually in all of sports entertainment. But they’re doing their own thing, and we’re doing our own thing.
“We’re forging our own path. I think, possibly we just form our own female Bloodline, maybe one day I could team up. I love beating up Naomi, but I wouldn’t mind teaming up with her one day. And whenever Tamina wants to come through and start beating up people we’ll do that as well. But I appreciate what the boys are doing, and I love that our fans want us in it, but we could definitely do our own thing.”
