Tyler Breeze has named the tag team he’d love for Breezango to face in NXT if possible.
Tyler Breeze and Fandango (now known as JDC) are former NXT Tag Team Champions and at one time were the most popular team in the WWE. Their work as The Fashion Police was hugely entertaining on Smackdown in 2016 and earned them a shot at the Smackdown Tag Team Championships.
They were relegated to NXT in 2018 and went on to defeat Imperium for the NXT Tag Team Championships. The pair were released by the WWE in 2021 but Tyler Breeze wants to face one top NXT team in a dream match.
Speaking in a Q&A with Monopoly Events in the UK, Tyler Breeze named an NXT dream match for he and Fandango. The former WWE star named Fraxiom as the duo he’d love to face. He also revealed they’d never done anything with the pair before.
“Dream NXT match for us as a tag team? Realistic for who’s there right now. I mean, Nathan Frazer and Axiom would be a fun one. We never really did anything with them.” Tyler Breeze said.
JDC suggested that The Bloodline would be a dream match for them. Breeze replied, “I mean, obviously… yeah, I would say probably Nathan Frazer and Axiom. I think that’d be a good one.”
Tyler Breeze: Potential WWE In-Ring Return Isn’t Up To Me
Tyler Breeze says he has no idea if he’ll wrestle for WWE again, despite being under contract with the company.
WWE released Breeze, a former NXT Tag Team Champion, in a wave of cuts in June 2021. He took some time away from the ring but returned to action in 2023. Breeze continues to wrestle on the independent scene. Meanwhile, he is under contract with WWE, and he works for the company through the UpUpDownDown channel and Fanatics streams. He has not wrestled for WWE since June 2021.
At a recent Fanatics Live Signing, Tyler Breeze was asked whether he would be wrestling for WWE again. (H/T Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling for the transcription)
“Couldn’t tell ya, couldn’t tell ya,” he said. “No clue. I have no idea. No idea… Yeah, probably (I still can go in the ring) but, who knows? It ain’t up to me.”
Breeze previously said that he thought he was a “Triple H guy”. Check out his comments here.
