JDC has revealed that Shawn Michaels said he has “another match or two” in him.
The TNA star has made appearances on NXT over the past few weeks. He lost to Lexis King last week following the pair’s confrontation the week prior.
The former Fandango has since returned to TNA but had a chat with Shawn Michaels while at NXT. During a talk with Monopoly Events alongside Tyler Breeze, JDC revealed that the WWE Hall of Famer told him he has “one or two matches left in him”, even at 59 years old.
Shawn Michaels last wrestled at Crown Jewel 2018 in a disastrous “DX vs Brothers of Destruction” bout. One last match (or two) could be on the cards for the Heart Break Kid, but JDC doubts it would be against him.
“You know who I talked to last week, who said he’s got one or two matches left in him? Shawn Michaels,” JDC said. “Yeah, and that’s a guy, he’s the reason why I got into the business. So honestly, it’d probably never happen, but that would be my dream match.”
Fandango Comments On His Return To WWE NXT
Fandango is feeling grateful after he made his shocking return to NXT.
Speaking in an NXT Exclusive, Fandango addressed his return to WWE. The TNA star said that he is grateful to be back.
“NXT means the world to me. To be back tonight… man, just goosebumps. I can’t get over it. I’m grateful—truly grateful,” Fandango said. “Well, I’ve been an unpredictable figure my entire career, so what happens when two unpredictable guys get together? I mean, you don’t predict it, right? Anyway, I’m going to go fix my shoes.”
