Ricky Starks Officially Joins NXT, Renamed Ricky Saints

Ricky Starks has officially joined the NXT roster, and his new name has been revealed.

Starks made a surprise appearance on the February 11th episode of WWE NXT, and he came to the ring to sign his contract the following week. On Tuesday’s show, Starks came to the ring, where NXT General Manager Ava was waiting. Ava called him the hottest free agent in wrestling. Starks said that NXT was amazing. He then stated that he had some things he wanted to get off his chest.

Starks said that main-eventing every NXT PLE and winning the NXT Championship would be his reality. He stated that he was the man in NXT, and he would show up and show out. Starks declared that the revolution was about to begin, but Ethan Page interrupted.

Page said that he was impressed, as Starks was following the Ethan Page playbook. He told Starks that there was only one Ethan Page. Starks responded by saying that the spotlight wasn’t big enough for both of them. He said that he was there to take NXT to another level. Page fired back by saying that Starks wouldn’t be able to reach the bar he set. Starks said that they should be celebrating.

Starks warned Page that Je’Von Evans would be coming for revenge. Evans charged the ring and took the fight to Page. They brawled to the back.

Wes Lee Confronts Ricky Saints

Wes Lee then interrupted Starks before he could sign his contract. He told Starks that he wanted to show him the ropes and welcome him to NXT. Starks said that he would face Lee next week. He caught Lee with a punch and clotheslined him over the ropes. Starks finally signed his contract, which showed that his new name was “Ricky Saints”.

Starks is a former AEW World Tag Team Champion, and he was a featured member of the roster throughout his time with the company.
