The WWE ID Championships have been unveiled.
WWE announced the launch of WWE Independent Development (WWE ID) in October 2024. Since then, a number of independent wrestlers have been designated as WWE ID prospects. WWE ID showcase matches have been held throughout the independent scene in recent months.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H took to Twitter and shared a picture in which he posed with the Men’s and Women’s WWE ID Championships. He stated that the titles would spotlight the best of the best on the independent wrestling scene.
WWE ID responded to the post and stated that the first champions would be crowned in a tournament across the top independent wrestling promotions. The titles will then be defended on the indies.
