WWE is reportedly interested in two top names from the UK wrestling scene.
Corey Brennan of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that WWE is interested in Rhio, and sources in British wrestling say that Man Like DeReiss is on the company’s radar as well. Per Brennan, sources say that several talents in WWE have been pushing for the company to sign both talents. There is currently no word if either one will be doing extra work ahead of WrestleMania 41. Likewise, it is not known if they are slated to be at the tryout in London in March.
As previously noted, Rhio was spotted at a recent NXT taping at the Performance Center, but she was just visiting. Brennan also notes that Rhio and DeReiss have trained with Natalya and TJ Wilson at their Hart Dungeon. Rhio and DeReiss have some experience with WWE, as they competed on NXT UK.
Rhio is currently one of the top women’s wrestlers in the UK; she has wrestled for ICW, OTT, and PROGRESS in recent months. She is a former PROGRESS Women’s Champion. DeReiss is active in the UK, and he has also wrestled for GCW in the United States.
