Miro‘s first post-AEW appearance has been announced.
On February 10th, Fightful Select reported that Miro and AEW mutually agreed to part ways. The former TNT Champion has not wrestled since AEW Worlds End in December 2023, and he reportedly had not been brought up within AEW creative in months. The report noted that he had been cleared for some time, but he asked for his release a while back.
Qatar Pro Wrestling announced that Miro would appear at their Super Slam III event on February 21 and February 22 in Doha, Qatar. It was not specified whether he would be wrestling.
Miro had been with AEW since 2020. He originally aligned with Kip Sabian and later broke off on his own.
