Hammerstone is set to return to the ring for the first time since November after having knee surgery last year.
TNA Wrestling‘s Hammerstone suffered a knee injury back in November at Turning Point during the Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl match.
Hammerstone would go on to have knee surgery in December and has made a quick recovery as he’ll be back in the ring later this month.
The former MLW World Heavyweight Champion took to social media yesterday to hype up a match against Dijak this weekend at an independent show, tweeting out:
“Your Boy Hammer is back in a big way,” he said in a post.
The match is for the independent promotion Destiny Wrestling in Canada where the TNA star is the current reigning and defending Destiny World Champion.
As of this writing, it’s currently unknown when he’ll return to TNA Wrestling.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more on Hammerstone’s injury status as it becomes available.
