Josh Mathews, Christy Hemme and more have left TNA as the company undergoes a big reshuffle behind the scenes.
The company has undergone some huge changes in the last few years. They branded from Impact to TNA back in 2023, under the watchful eye of company president Scott D’Amore. However, he was replaced just a few months later in a huge change in operations by Anthem Sports behind the scenes.
PWInsider reported that Josh Mathews and Christy Hemme have been let go from the company. Hemme was TNA’s head of marketing, while Josh Mathews was a Senior Producer and the Senior Director of Digital Media. He was also the former lead commentator for the show, so losing them will be a big loss behind the scenes.
TNA President Anthony Cicione, the man who replaced Scott D’Amore last year, has also left his role. However, he will remain with Anthem Sports, the parent company behind TNA.
He has been replaced as President by Carlos Silva, who joined Anthem Sport as President in December. Other additions include a new executive producer in George Veras, according to PWInsider.
They have also added Mark Brown to their ranks as a director for TNA. He worked that role for Ring of Honor when it was owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group. Brown has worked with New Japan Pro Wrestling on their events in the United States in the past.
How the losses of Josh Mathews, Christy Hemme and Anthony Cicione will affect the TNA product is currently unknown.
