Shoko Nakajima To Make MLW Debut At Battle Riot VII

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling’s Shoko Nakajima will make her MLW debut on April 5 at Battle Riot VII.

Major League Wrestling announced in a press release today that Shoki Nakajima will debut for the company this April at Battle Riot VII in Los Angeles. Her opponent will be announced in the coming weeks.

Below is an excerpt from MLW’s press release that details Nakajima’s history and the importance of her debut:

Known as the “Big Kaiju,” Nakajima is a two-time Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling (TJPW) Princess of Princess Champion and a former Tokyo Princess Tag Team Champion. With an electrifying, high-speed offense and a fearless fighting spirit, Nakajima has become one of TJPW’s most accomplished and beloved stars, earning victories over some of the best wrestlers in Japan. MLW officials are currently in discussions with TJPW to finalize Nakajima’s opponent for this highly anticipated debut.

It’s also been announced that Matt Riddle will defend the MLW World Heavyweight Championship in the Battle Riot match. This match typically determines who will receive a future title shot at the champion later in the year. So the stakes for Riddle in this match have been raised considerably.
