AJ Styles Clarifies Who Owns His P1 Logo

AJ Styles has made it clear who owns his iconic P1 logo.

The former WWE Champion has used the logo for years, even before stepping foot into the WWE. The logo was used during his time in TNA, ROH and NJPW, and it became synonymous with The Phenomenal One throughout his career.

When he jumped to WWE in 2016, fans were shocked he kept his name and used the logo. Other fans didn’t notice at all, and was shocked that he continues to use it to this day.

On Twitter, one fan remarked that a new faded black version of his P1 logo was proof that “ROH LIVES”. This is despite the fact that the P1 logo has been a feature of his tights and Titantron for over a decade.

This led AJ Styles himself to reply, clearing up the situation about who owns his P1 logo. The former WWE, TNA and IWGP Champion revealed that he was the sole owner of the logo, despite what others may claim.

AJ Styles went on to say that he licenses it to the companies he works for. This means they can use it on TV and sell merchandise featuring the logo, although he still owns it outright. This explains why it has followed him to every company he’s worked for across the world.

“Just to clarify, I own the logo. I permit a company to sell items with my logo on them when I work there,” AJ Styles said.
