It would appear that Ring of Honor isn’t ready to walk with Elijah after all.
Last week in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Elijah had signed with Ring of Honor. However, a new report states this isn’t the case.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Elijah is not signed to All Elite Wrestling or Ring of Honor at this time.
Speculation of Elijah’s signing with Ring of Honor began last week when a vignette of the former WWE Superstar and The Righteous was released on social media. You can check that out in the embedded video below:
Despite not being signed to either company, Elijah was part of the Jericho Cruise hosted by All Elite Wrestling’s Chris Jericho earlier this month and wrestled Ring of Honor’s Tommy Billington. Sapp would also reveal that there has been interest from TNA as of late to work with the former Elias.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on Elijah’s contractual status as it becomes available.
