Rhea Ripley knows her next challenger.
Ripley won back the WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Championship against Liv Morgan at the Raw Netflix debut. Before Monday night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, the next challenger for Ripley was still undecided. But now, it has been made clear that the next person to challenge Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Championship is IYO SKY.
Last week on Raw, IYO SKY wrestled Liv Morgan in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match. But her chances of picking up the win were often blocked by Raquel Rodriguez who was at ringside. The current champion Rhea Ripley rushed out to the ring to even the odds. Unfortunately, that cost IYO SKY the match.
Liv Morgan tried to attack Ripley in an attempt to save her friend. Ripley then attacked Morgan which resulted in the referee calling for the bell. It was announced that via disqualification, Liv Morgan won the match and qualified for the Elimination Chamber.
This upset SKY as she felt she got robbed. She confronted Rhea Ripley after the match and also during last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
Ripley then went and had a word with Adam Pearce. She then met IYO SKY backstage and told her that in three weeks, the RAW after Elimination Chamber, Rhea Ripley would be defending her title against IYO SKY.
The 2025 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event takes place on March 1 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. RAW will be at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo on March 3.
Do you think Ripley can successfully defend her title against the Genius of The Sky?
