WWE Files Multiple New Trademarks, Including Osiris Griffin, Haze Jameson And Trill London

WWE has filed some interesting new trademarks for talent.

On February 9, WWE applied to trademark the following names:

  • Aria Bennett
  • Braxton Cole
  • Chantel Monroe
  • Drako Knox
  • Harley Riggins
  • Haze Jameson
  • Jax Presley
  • Masyn Holiday
  • Osiris Griffin
  • Summer Sorrell
  • Tate Wilder
  • Trill London

The trademarks are all filed with the intent to use for:

“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment”

It is unclear who the names would specifically be used for. However, it’s worth mentioning WWE recently announced a new series, WWE Evolve, which premieres Wednesday, March 5 on Tubi.

According to the company, WWE Evolve will “WWE EVOLVE will introduce viewers to the most intense and charismatic prospects recruited from college athletics and independent wrestling as they strive to build their in-ring careers and elevate their personas. WWE EVOLVE will prominently feature talent from WWE’s world-class Performance Center in Orlando, Fla., and WWE ID, a first-of-its-kind developmental program.”
