Trish Stratus Expected To Be Involved In WWE Elimination Chamber Build, More Appearances Discussed

Trish Stratus is expected to grace your TV screens again soon.

Stratus appeared at the 2025 Royal Rumble in Indianapolis and competed in the women’s Rumble match. Now, Fightful (via Fightful Select) is reporting that Trish could be making more appearances soon.

According to the outlet, WWE sources said in early January that the WWE legend was discussed for upcoming appearances in the company. In following up, Fightful was told that Trish is always a topic of discussion in WWE and she also makes pitches for herself on occasion.

While not confirmed, Trish Stratus is expected to be involved “in some way” with WWE’s build towards the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. The Chamber PLE is in Stratus’ hometown of Toronto on March 1.

WWEShop recently released 25th anniversary merchandise for Trish Stratus. She made her debut on the March 19, 2000, episode of Sunday Night Heat. In the past, Stratus has expressed her interest in coming back to celebrate her milestone anniversary, but knows it depends on timing and the right situation.

“I think it’s like examining the landscape and seeing what works best for everyone,” Stratus told The Takedown on SI‘s Rick Ucchino in December. “There’s so many parties to consider. The person that is in the storyline, the WWE. It’s really collaborative.”

Trish Stratus Doesn’t Remember Telling A Fan To ‘STFU’ At Payback 2023

Prior to her Rumble appearance, Stratus’s last match was a loss in a steel cage to Becky Lynch at Payback 2023. The match is remembered as one of the best women’s matches in the WWE that year. However, there’s a moment that Stratus doesn’t remember that also got some attention.

As she was entered the cage, Trish had a small altercation with a fan who said she was going to lose to Lynch. Stratus walked straight up to him and told him to “Shut the f*ck up”, but doesn’t remember it because she suffered a concussion in the match.

“That was Trish Status ‘the heel’. I honestly must have had an out-of-body experience. I’m so PR and level-headed” Trish Status told Ring the Belle. “I don’t even throw it on my socials. I’m like ‘F***’. It’s her influence,” she joked, referring to Lita. “Because my bestie has such a foul mouth, I had to bring a piece of her to the ring.”

“I remember hearing after the match like ‘oh, that thing you did before the match went viral’. I was like ‘What thing?’. First of all, I was concussed. What match? But really, I was so ‘in the moment’ that I did not remember that moment. I saw it back, I was like ‘Guys, I did that? I really didn’t think I did that,’” Trish Stratus added.
