WWE SmackDown saw a decrease in viewership on February 7.
According to Wrestlenomics (via Programming Insider), SmackDown averaged 1.507 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.48 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode when an average of 1.578 million viewers tuned in. The demo rating also dropped from last week’s show (0.51 rating in the same demographic).
What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off with a promo from Jey Uso and calls out Cody Rhodes. They are interrupted by Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga setting up the main event for later in the evening.
Drew McIntyre, Bianca Belair, and Alexa Bliss all qualified for their respective Elimination Chamber matches next month.
Elsewhere on the show, Pretty Deadly defeated DIY in a non-title match. As a result of the win, Pretty Deadly will get a future title shot.
In the main event of the evening, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeated Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu. After the match, Solo Sikoa returned to attack Rhodes to end the show.
