Paul Ellering, the manager of The Final Testament, has reportedly been released by WWE.
PWInsider first reported that Ellering was released on February 7th. A later report from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp confirmed the news as well.
At the time of his release, Ellering was working alongside The Final Testament’s Karrion Kross, Scarlett, and AOP (Akam & Rezar). The Authors of Pain were also reportedly released, meaning that The Final Testament is down to just Karrion Kross and Scarlett as of now.
Ellering is a legend in the wrestling world; he managed the Road Warriors for several years. In 2011, Ellering and the Road Warriors were inducted into both the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame, as well as the WWE Hall of Fame.
In 2016, Ellering returned to WWE and began managing the Authors of Pain. They parted ways in 2018. Ellering then returned in late 2023 as part of the Final Testament with the Authors of Pain, Karrion Kross, and Scarlett.
