Dustin Rhodes Says He Needs Two Knee Replacements, Probably Has Three Years Left

Dustin Rhodes comments on his future.

Rhodes, 55, has been wrestling since 1988. He has had prominent runs in WWE and WCW, and he has been with AEW since 2019. Rhodes currently holds the ROH World Tag Team Championship and the World Six-Man Tag Team Championship.

In a post on Twitter, Dustin Rhodes stated that he needs two replacements. He also wrote that he had probably three years left as an active wrestler.

“I have not had 2 knee replacements, I need 2 knee replacements,” he wrote. “Also, as tough as it is going to be, i would and I say this loosely, have prob 3 yrs left. I want my fans to really feed me their energy the next few yrs, because as much as I love the biz, I love them more, for allowing me in to their lives and homes. I am very blessed to still be in great shape and actually hanging with the younger generation a lot, because Of the fans energy and their love for me. I will always give it 100.

“I just appreciate and feel blessed that they still hang in there for me. I need them now more than ever, because it is absolutely going to suck when I put my boots and ass to rest. Its terrible to think about. So lets just take it easy and give me all u got. Love yall.”
