Dominik Mysterio hates John Cena and wants to wrestle him again.
The 16-time world champion has history with the Mysterio family. He beat Rey Mysterio in 2011 to win the WWE Championship, on the same night Mysterio won his first and only WWE title. His history with Dominik Mysterio was shorter, having only competed in a dark match together. However, Dirty Dom still holds a grudge and wants to get in the ring with John Cena before he retires.
Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, Dominik Mysterio talked about his father’s WWE Championship reign that was ended by John Cena after just an hour back in 2011.
“If I ever win that title [WWE Championship], you can best believe I am on a car and I am heading out. I’m taking off.” Dominik Mysterio said. “Ain’t nobody cashing in nothing on me, no John Cena moment, nothing.
“Unfortunately, I wrestled John Cena in a dark match one time and it did not go my way. I was the NXT North American Champion at the time, so I had other things on my mind. I mean, I hate Cena for personal reasons. But I would love to get back in there with him. I was definitely unprepared. I had other things on my mind, so I’d definitely like to run it back now.”
