Jey Uso didn’t have a whole lot of time to let things sink in that he was winning the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match.
WWE Superstar Jey Uso recently sat down with Daniel Cormier. When asked when he found out that he was going to win the Royal Rumble this year, Uso revealed he wasn’t told until Saturday afternoon.
“I was humbled, man,” Jey Uso admitted. “And I knew, as soon as they told me it was me, they told me like halfway during the day Saturday, man. Hey, we need the last four to come in here. I’m last four, I see who’s with me. Yeah, they let me know, man. And then I automatically went straight to my brothers and told them what it was.
“And I knew I liked it Uce because I knew not one person in that arena think it’s gonna be me. That’s the swerve I like. Just like on Monday Night RAW against Bron Breakker, one of the hottest upcoming superstars. He’s not gonna beat him on a Monday Night RAW, and they go crazy, man. Everybody went crazy. So that’s the emotion that I like to pump to the fans, man.
“We gotta swerve because everyone’s smart today. Everyone thinks they know. Y’all ain’t got no damn clue, man. I like to just let y’all enjoy the show, Uce. Enjoy what we do. It’s entertainment, it’s fun, man. I mean, when you’re there with us, you just gotta be there with us, man. It’s a great show. I love this. I love what we do, Uce.”
Jey Uso has yet to announce who he will face at WrestleMania 41, but all signs currently point to RAW’s World Champion, Gunther.
