Alexa Bliss is reportedly set to join the WWE SmackDown roster.
Bliss had been absent from WWE programming for over two years until she returned at WWE Royal Rumble. She made a surprise appearance in the Women’s Royal Rumble. Bliss did not appear on the following episode of WWE RAW, which led to some speculation about her future.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that Alexa Bliss was absent from the WWE RAW taping on February 3rd, and there have been pitches for her move to SmackDown. In an update, Johnson writes that he could confirm that this is “100%” where Bliss will be going. PW Nexus reported the news as well.
Bliss had been slated to return to WWE RAW, but the decision-makers evidently changed their minds.
As previously reported, Bliss has been set to return on the January 13th episode of WWE RAW, and a storyline with the Wyatt Sicks was pitched as part of it. However, these plans were put on hold, as WWE and Bliss were negotiating a new contract. Interestingly, the Wyatt Sicks recently moved to SmackDown.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
