WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus made a surprise appearance in the Women’s Royal Rumble, which marked her first in-ring action since September 2023.
In a WWE Royal Rumble digital exclusive, Trish Stratus commented on her surprise appearance.
“That was fun. To be honest, there is this moment that goes through one’s head where you’re like, ‘Do they not recall? Do they care?’ It’s all that, right. I kind of came out, I sauntered out, and I could feel it. It was there, it felt really good.”
Stratus also noted that she was honored to kick off the twenty-fifth anniversary of her career with an appearance in the Royal Rumble match.

When asked to comment on her feelings about some of the superstars, she highlighted how it was cool to see different generations.
“Honestly, there was a moment where I was sitting back, and just seeing the girls in there, seeing the different generations, NXT girls coming up and TNA crossover, it was like wow, it was a little bit of everything in there,” Trish Stratus said. “I feel honored and humbled to be in there with them.
“These are fun moments for fans. This is such a fan-friendly event because of these things. You can see these fantasy face-offs and matchups. I had fun. I was trying to go to WrestleMania, that didn’t work out. Because Nia’s really big. She’s very big.
When asked if we’ll see her again soon, Stratus said, “Maybe, and thanks for always being there for me.”
After her appearance, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Trish Stratus is expected to do “some more” with WWE. Sapp noted that she was constantly brought up in pitches in creative.
