Nikki Bella gets emotional while talking about her WWE return at WWE Royal Rumble and names some opponents she’d like to face.
Bella competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble, which marked her first time in a WWE ring since WWE Royal Rumble 2022.
In a WWE Royal Rumble Exclusive, Nikki Bella commented on her return.
“Oh my goodness, it’s crazy,” she said. “The crowd just gets you right back into who you are out there, and what I sometimes have to be careful is, I always want to go into heel Nikki mode. It’s just where I thrive. It gives me very Bambi vibes. But you almost try to not get emotional because it’s been so long, I love my WWE Universe family, I love my family back here. Then when you hear the crowd react like that, you’re just like, oh my gosh. It gives you all the feels.”
Bella was then asked to comment on why she got emotional, and she highlighted how WWE was a family.
“It’s the love here. We truly are family in here and with the fans. For our stories to be great, the fans are a part of that, our refs are a part of that. We all make the magic happen together, and that’s what you feel when you’re here.
“So being with the women for the past two days and being in the locker room and seeing a lot of old faces but also new faces, or faces I’ve only seen on TV, or faces that I met when they were 10 and now they’re old with me, it was incredible, and that’s what made this extra special, was being in there with Roxanne and the other women…Maxxine and I were so sad we didn’t have a moment. There is time. So this is what made this one feel extra special. I was nervous, and I want to deliver for the women in the ring, for the fans, for the people in TV land, out on Netflix.”
Nikki Bella On Who She Wants To Face
Bella was also asked about her future and whether there was anyone she would want to face.
“There’s a lot of people,” she said. “I feel like there’s parts of me that have I unfinished business, long business with Charlotte Flair, but also with Liv Morgan. That would probably be most unfinished business with. It’s great to see some of my girls back here, we still have Naomi and Nattie. But I’ve never caused chaos to Bayley, and someone who I’ve really been loving and I kind of want to kick her off her high horse is Chelsea Green.”
